Archaic language today from Tory MP Anne Marie Morris speaking at a panel Q and A event on Brexit said…“Now I’m sure there will be many people who’ll challenge that, but my response and my request is look at the detail, it isn’t all doom and gloom. Now we get to the real nigger in the woodpile, which is, in two years what happens if there is no deal?” The casual use of that phrase reveals a lot about her and her party. Within an hour of the comments emerging, Morris had issued a statement of apology. “The comment was totally unintentional. I apologise unreservedly for any offence caused,” she said in an email.About three hours later, May released a statement saying Morris was being disciplined and the whip suspended.
“I was shocked to hear of these remarks, which are completely unacceptable,” May said. “I immediately asked the chief whip to suspend the party whip. Language like this has absolutely no place in politics or in today’s society.” But here is the rub…Theresa May cannot rein in all her right wing racists MP’s whether they are in or out of the racist closet. She is depending on the DUP and charming MP’s like Anne Marie Morris to keep her government afloat. The language used by Morris today exposes the racism and prejudice just below the surface of the UK government and ingrained in much of Tory councils in England as witnessed in the neglect shown to council tenants in Kensington who were victims of the shocking neglect of duty to people at the Grenfell Tower. It has echoes of an old language used at the time of another kind of ‘free trade’ so loved by the Brexiteers. The Tories love the ‘Empire’, and at its height it was transporting textiles, rum and manufactured goods to Africa in order to set off a triangle of trade of African slaves to America to provide free labour to the racist Southern states which in turn produced sugar, tobacco and cotton to be traded to Britain and Europe to start the whole ‘triangle’ off again. That is how the ‘Empire’ flourished.
The slave trade was of course brought into line by notable people like David Livingstone and William Wilberforce but the language and the colonial links to the British establishment still hang on like a bad smell resurfacing like today when an elected politician talks rubbish in public and portrays as much human sensitivity as a member of the Klu Klux Klan.
So these are the people Theresa May is depending on,yet tomorrow she is going to make a plea to parties to come to her with ideas? What does this mean? That she has no ideas- or does she realise that her own party has too many monsters?
So what are the three sides to Theresa’s trade triangle .
Side 1- Arms Dealing with the Saudi’s
We suspect she is trying the old trick of getting us to look the other way because Theresa has her own modern day ‘Trade Triangle’. Let us explain……. The first side of the triangle is an unrelenting effort to sell arms to Saudi Arabia. Why? To make money of course. The Tories have friends in high places, mostly board rooms. The more money that gets spent on weapons the more their friends profit and maybe even their husbands, close relatives, and in Thatchers case it was her son who benefitted before he fell foul of some dodgy deals in sub saharan Africa.
Plenty of investigative journalists are getting their teeth into this story so we will just post some links for you to research yourself.
Side 2- Saudi links to the DUP in Northern Ireland
Think of it, if you will , like your TESCO or other shop club card. You spend a lot of money or in this case you sell a lot of munitions, bombs and delivery vehicles to hurl at your friends enemies. So, they put some money in a pot, not a big pot just a little pot so insignificant no one will notice. Its as insignificant as your TESCO points.
Side 3- DUP help to deliver Brexit vote, election expenses and ultimately save Theresa Mays skin- for a price ( that bit was not in the plan)
This quote from the Guardian also in February 2017 sets the scene-
‘The Democratic Unionist party spent £282,000 on a pro-Brexit advert in a newspaper that is not published in Northern Ireland, according to documents released by the Electoral Commission.’
Not published in Northern Ireland says it all. They are working in cahoots with the Tories before democratic elections in order to influence them.
So the DUP placed pro-Brexit adverts paid for by the Saudi’s who were grateful for the unregulated arms trading so they could bomb their Yemeni neighbours back into the stone age.
But what else was Theresa May hoping for. What was the real CLUBCARD BONUS?
It was the INSURANCE clause.
Well the answer to that is still subject to potential legal challenge of the so called deal with the DUP. They may have channelled over £400,000 of ‘bonus’ money but they also screwed best part of £2 billion for projects in Northern Ireland to the detriment of Scotland ,Wales and all the other regions of England. Dirty deals by dirty people who all have one thing in common, a desire to keep their precious Union alive when in reality its at the point of total collapse and Theresa May’s zombie government is reaching out for straws to clutch…..don’t give her any. Me I don’t like zombies. G
